The Origin of our Coffee
Single origins begin with Mother Nature, the soil,
the elements, and the care the farmer takes to
cultivate the crop. From year to year and crop to
crop there may be subtle differences, but the
flavors in each cup will be what you have come to
expect. Each of our single origin coffees is
carefully selected because of its complex set of
flavors, body, sweetness, and lingering aftertaste.
Most of our coffees are used to create blends, but
when we find some really special beans we roast
them by themselves so that you can experience
the unique qualities of a single origin.
Our current line up
of single origin coffee.
Ethiopia Washed - Citrus, Floral, Bright Fruit, Ripe Sweetness, and Medium Body
Ethiopia is where Coffea arabica, the coffee plant, originates. Like all coffees these crops may vary throughout the
year, and from crop to crop. Ethiopian Coffees are well known for their notes of Citrus, Floral, Bright Fruit, Ripe
Sweetness, and Medium Body. Each crop produces layers of pleasing flavors that are highlighted in a Lighter Roast
to bring all of these flavors forward.
Mexico Zongolica - Semisweet chocolate, lush ripe fruit, and a silky body that coats the palate
This is a Micro Lot from the Mexican state of Vera Cruz. Zongolica is a small municipality about 4,000 feet above
sea level that is known for its cool humid year around climate. The area is known for its coffee harvest and the
local culture is steeped in coffee growing tradition. We have roasted these special beans to a Medium Light to
Medium Roast level. Roasting to this level, we are able to bring out the crops' deep sweetness. This special harvest brings forward flavors of semisweet chocolate, lush ripe fruit, and a silky body that coats the palate. Enjoy this limited offering!
Guatemala Sunrise - Chocolate, hint of navel orange citrus, and finished with slight floral notes
Our newest incarnation of our Guatemalan is 100% Guatemalan Beans. Historically we have blended with
neighboring coffee growing countries in Central America, but we have decided to make the country shine. This
coffee originates with farmers from around the richest growing regions of Guatemala. We have found that these
coffees are best roasted to a Medium Light to Medium Roast level in order to accentuate a smooth and mild roast intensity. Slight overtones chocolate, a hint of navel orange citrus, and finished with slight floral notes. These are beans that will definitely suit all palates.

Swiss Water Process Decaf - Sweetness, semisweet chocolate, bright fruit notes
We use only Water Processed Decaf beans, a natural way of decaffeinating beans. By using only the highest quality and best tasting beans from growers in Central and South America we are able to create an exceptional cup of decaf. The flavors are every bit as good as coffee with caffeine. Our decaf has a classic “America” flavor profile with balance, sweetness, semisweet chocolate, bright fruit notes, and smooth lingering aftertaste. Most importantly this coffee maintains a silky mouthfeel that is many times lost in decaf coffee. You will be surprised it's a decaf.
Dark Roasts also known as Italian Roasts
These profiles are used with coffees chosen specifically for their ability to hold up and deliver that rich dark
intense flavor achieved only in the darkest roasting. Our dark roasting allows the smokey characters, bold intensity, and dark chocolate notes to dominate the flavors, but without the harsh bitterness that is typical with other roasters. Each blend showcases the natural flavors grown into the coffees selected.
